Kentucky Change the World with Energy Star Mini-Grant Program

Grant Opportunity Available - 2011 Change the World with Energy Star® Mini-Grants
We've launched an ONLINE application for the mini-grants. Please submit your application via the online system. If you MUST print and submit via mail, see instructions below.
Mini-grants are being offered to student groups (schools and civic groups) who wish to facilitate activities in their schools and communities.
The Kentucky Department for Energy Development and Independence, Louisville Gas & Electric Company (LG&E), Kentucky Utilities Company (KU) and the Kentucky NEED Project are partnering in support of the Change the World - Start with ENERGY STAR campaign, a joint effort between the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy. The Change the World, Start with Energy Star campaign encourages all Americans to take small, individual steps that make a big difference in reducing carbon dioxide emissions and greenhouse gasses. Kentucky NEED is registered as a pledge driver and we encourage students across the Commonwealth to get involved.
Information about this campaign can be found at: http://www.energystar.gov/index.cfm?fuseaction=globalwarming.showPledgeHome
