9:30 a.m. Science of Energy
These hands-on forms of energy lessons help explain the forms of energy and energy transformations. Understanding the forms of energy guides students to deeper knowledge of renewable and nonrenewable energy sources and how we use the energy harnessed from each.
11:00 a.m. Energy in Hawaii
Learn about how Hawaii produces and uses energy. See how Hawaii’s electricity production and consumption differs from the U.S. national data and how it has changed over time with Hawaii’s renewable energy goals.

1:15 p.m. Exploring Solar Energy
Explore radiant energy transformations and the production of electricity from solar energy. These lessons and activities provide activities to engage students in learning about renewable energy. Use interdisciplinary lessons to integrate more solar in the classroom too!
