This activity also demonstrates the advantages of working together in a group and reinforces the ideas of collaborative discussion and cooperative learning. \n11:30 a.m. Renewable Round Robin\nExplore a few quick\, hands-on renewable energy source activities that are easy to implement in the classroom with scrap and found supplies. \n12:30 p.m. Lunch and PPG Panel – Sustainability and Renewable Energy at PPG \n1:15 p.m. Conservation in the Round \n1:30 p.m. Energy House\nCreate a mini energy house to explore how architecture\, insulation\, and landscaping can all combine to minimize thermal energy transfer in a home. \n2:45 p.m. Carbon Cycle Simulation\nTake a closer look at how the carbon cycle works naturally. \n3:15 p.m. Wrap up & Paperwork \n
