Kits will be provided to participating educators.\n10:30 a.m. Forms and Sources: Connecticut Electric and Energy Connections\nAfter learning about the forms of energy\, discover how the different energy sources contribute to the generation of electricity in Connecticut. Check out the Connecticut numbers for all energy used.\n11:00 a.m. Candy Collector\n11:30 a.m. Lunch\n12:15 p.m. Introduction to Renewables\nTake a look and explore hands-on solar\, hydropower\, and wind activities\nPV Panel Exploration and UV Beads\nMoving Water Can Do Work\nWind Blade Investigation\n2:00 p.m. Energy Career Explorations\nTake a look at our Energy Career Excursion sampler and ways to incorporate into the classroom.
