
Empower Energy Education Workshop
with Central Alabama Electric Cooperative
The National Energy Education Development Project (NEED) has partnered with Central Alabama Electric Cooperative, a member owner of PowerSouth Energy Cooperative, to host a free, one day teacher workshop focused on energy.
Designed for K–12 educators, the Empower Energy Education Workshop is a free, hands on opportunity to explore electricity generation and distribution while discovering engaging ways to bring energy education into the classroom.
Participants will experience fun, classroom ready activities and explore up to date curriculum and resources designed to help students understand electric generation and distribution from a balanced perspective.
