This workshop series presents a unique opportunity for classroom teachers (K-12) to learn about energy in a fun and exciting way! The seminars will create awareness of today’s energy challenges and the importance of using energy wisely.

Participation in this workshop provides educators with more than $500 of curriculum and hands-on kits that teach about energy resources and energy transformations through hands-on activities. 

Participants will receive the NEED Science of Energy Kit, a basic NEED curriculum set and a class-set of NEED's Energy Infobooks at grade level.  Curriculum and training is aligned with state education standards.

Thanks to the support of ConocoPhillips, there is no cost to attend the workshop.  Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Substitute reimbursement forms will be available at the workshop and substitute costs will be reimbursed to school districts.
