Jasmine, a fifth grader at New Castle Elementary School in New Castle, KY wants to tell everyone what her school’s energy program is working on.
Hello we are the New Castle 5-4 grade energy team!
For our project this year, we are trying to save energy within our school. We are going to have an assembly for classes to come to our gym and learn and play games about energy. We are also going to raise money, test a classroom, and change the lights to LED lights. So, to finish that goal we broke into groups. We have jobs. Some of our groups are cfo, media team, energy leaders, room monitors, and reward team.
