Since 2008, Shell and The NEED Project have partnered to advance energy education and workforce development by providing K-12 educators across the country with high-quality curriculum and professional development opportunities. Together, Shell and NEED have developed and supported innovative resources that help students explore energy, chemistry, energy efficiency, and the connections between fossil fuels and the products used in everyday life. The partnership has also supported teacher training, community education initiatives, and programs such as Fossil Fuels to Products, EnergyForward, and the Chemistry and Energy Efficiency curriculum module.
Hands-on Energy Education Workshops
Why attend?
Thanks to the support of Shell, there is no cost to attend. Breakfast and lunch are provided (for in-person workshops). Substitute reimbursement forms are available for workshop participants.
